The Jerry Haney Home Page Introduction | Message | Dedication | Disclaimer
Support our troops! Support our veterans! FREEDOM IS NOT FREE!!! Well a new year in Jerry's Memorial Garden has begun. New plants are being placed, weeds pulled, fertilization, pruning and shaping, a "spring cleaning" if you will. We are "doubling" the size of Jerry's Garden this year. The addition will be an "informal" garden with natural paths on each side of the planting beds. Seating arrangements will be placed throughout the area for contemplation and rest while the beauty of this new area is "taken in." Pictures will be added as the new section of Jerry's Memorial Garden takes shape. Lots of things to do but when it's a labor of love, time is not important. Several security features have been added to the Haney Family of Websites. Some things may be restricted in the various sites; however, to request any of the information contained in the SCI series (Spinal Cord Information), please email us by clicking on the "contact us" link at the top of this page. The whole purpose of my son's site is to make that information readily available to the spinal cord injured and families. The SCI series (Spinal Cord Information) can be provided in Word format or via a CD of Jerry's site. Please let me know how I may be of help.
This spinal cord information site presents material that was helpful in not only understanding what devastation a spinal cord injury causes, but what we, as a family had to learn quickly to properly care for the well-being of our youngest son, Jerry. The site was established by Jerry Haney after his spinal cord injury that left him a quadriplegic. It was our purpose then and is now, to provide information about this terrible injury as well as the care and comfort of not only the injured but the other victim, the family, as well. (top) TO THE THOUSANDS OF VISITORS NEW AND OLD My sincere hope and prayer is that this site will, in some small way, provide information to help you understand spinal cord injury and assist you in coping with the family devastation as a result. (top) This site is dedicated to all the spinal cord injured, their families, loved ones and caregivers. To my youngest son, Jerry, who passed from this life to a better place on June 29, 2001. You were an inspiration to your Father particularly, and your family as well. Your loving heart and smiling face will be missed but never forgotten. With heavy hearts and tearful eyes, until we see you again, rest in peace my son, you are completely free to enjoy your family there and to watch over your family here. Love, Dad. To all the many people who cared enough to come by and visit with Jerry, thoughtful enough to express their sympathy at his service, and who simply loved and cared about my youngest son Jerry.
