Personal Information These pages, most of which were written by Jerry after his accident and prior to his death, are his view into what happened and what he could do about it. This is a very private view into the life of a young man who lived that life until the day he went to a better place.
So many people loved Jerry, not only his family, but the many thousands of visitors to his site that were and are helped by the information provided, I wanted to offer a little insight into this wild and crazy guy, my youngest son, with a picture montage' ...some are serious, others are funny; some are sad, while others show Jerry as a very loving and beautiful son, brother, uncle and friend. He touched a lot of folks both before and after the accident that left him a quadriplegic, but it didn't slow him down any. He loved life and lived it. I am indeed proud to offer these pictures that show Jerry as we knew and loved him, from a innocent little boy to the strapping man of 6' 6" and 230 pounds he grew into. We have quite a large collection of photos and offer the ones presented here as the "first installment" of several more to come. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do. Memories of Jerry The picture, provided by the link below, is from the poem page of The Compassionate Friends, a national organization created for families who have lost children. Their names, Jerry and Norman, were remembered at the annual candle lighting ceremony held in Texas City, TX on December 8, 2002. The poem, written by Jerry's Dad, is offered as a memorial to both Jerry and Norman. The Haney and Lee Family have been close friends for years, as were and are all of our children. Jerry W. Haney and Norman E. Lee, friends in life, friends in Heaven.
