UNCLE JERRY

It wasn't very long before Uncle Jerry died, that my Dad, 

me and Michelle spent the night at Uncle Jerry's house.

We went to Church's Chicken and bought so much food that we even,

got a free soccer ball and spent all my dad's money. 

I even had to pitch in some money to pay the bill. 

I never imagined I was eating my last meal with Uncle Jerry.

After we had eaten all we could, Uncle Jerry played his Alanies

Marsett CD and before I knew it, I was singing for Uncle Jerry.

Michelle was yelling we were too loud, she was trying to go to sleep.

Uncle Jerry started laughing and when finished, 

wanted me to sing for him again.  

I'm glad I did sing for him because now after I go to college,

and get my degree in neonatology, I'm going to become a singer for him.

I know he's in a better place, walking and doing all the things he couldn't

do in life, and I don't think I'd have it any other way,

we all love you Uncle Jerry.
